Football vs Futbol

Carlie said she wanted to play football this year. And honestly, had we stayed in Hamilton, we would have let her. Here the potato farmer kids are a little too big and tough for me to feel comfortable with her taking that leap. She had the choice to play volleyball (not going to happen), cross country with Jans (sooo not going to happen), or soccer. Guess what she chose?

Carlie absolutely loves playing soccer. Soccer has been kind of taboo for the kids in our house so imagine how shocked Joe was when Carlie decided to play soccer...and had fun doing it! Well Carlie, you did say you would play football this year...you just meant to spell it futbol! And get this...remember how her basketball buddies called her Mello? Here they call her Chill! Go Chill!
