The Birthday Queen!

Kristen was so excited to get a kitchen for her 3rd birthday! She spent most of the day "cooking" rice, mac n cheese, stir fry, and eggs! Since she hates pepper, she forced me to agree that the pepper shaker is actually butter! Well, she is the birthday queen so no harm done.

Here are the cupcakes they made in playgroup on her birthday. Too cool! (The cupcakes I made that night were nothing to crow about so instead, you get the picture of the nibbled on skeleton!)

Kristen loved being birthday girl. Throughout the day people wished her a happy birthday and she would wish them "happy birthday" right back!

We took a yummy dinner of roast and potatoes to a friend who had a baby. Both Joe and the kids were disappointed to find out that as per our family tradition of the birthday kid choosing the meal, that Kristen had chosen chicken nuggets! However, after taking the meal to Rogers, and watching Jansen's basketball game, they were happy for anything to eat, even if it was dino-nuggets! It was a crazy busy birthday but Kristen was happy and had a great day!
