Joe's youngest brother Rich finally tied the knot on July 2, 2011. We absolutely love his new bride Erica! The wedding couldn't have been held on a more beautiful day in the Bitterroot Valley at Don and Rachel's.
We waited for a long time for the wedding to begin under the blazing hot sun. Joe and Kent were on hand to save the rows for the wedding party. They had about 250 people attend!
We remembered bug spray because we were so close to the river...but kind of didn't think of sunblock!
The wedding had been delayed because the photographers had run out of room on their sd- cards so they were frantically downloading their photos to their laptops! Can you imagine? (We didn't find out the reason for the long wait until a few days later.) But at least I got some great shots of the kids.
Rich and Erica walked down the aisle to the theme song from A River Runs Through It! I couldn't think of a more beautiful song...especially for them!
Shona was the flower girl (with Rachel of course). Shona had just fallen asleep for a nap because of the long wait but she and her mom performed their flower girl duties beautifully.
Once the wedding began, the ceremony went without a hitch. One of Erica's friends gave the opening prayer. In her beautiful accent she praised the Lord calling Him awesome..or oah-som! The pastor of the church gave a beautiful sermon on marriage and then everyone sang How Great Thou Art! Wow! It was very spiritual. Rich and Erica exchanged vows and rings.
Then came the most romantic kiss I've ever seen!
True wedding bliss!
Congratulations Rich and Erica!
