Kristen got to spend a lot of time with her cousin Mariko since Tim and Mary came up for the wedding too. Mariko and Kimiye (her 2 yr old sister) came over for fireworks after the huge bbq. Kimi was too active to get in the picture;)
Our house is the best kept secret for watching fireworks here in the valley! We invited tons of people but only Sharon and Tim, Mary, Mariko, and Kimi took us up on our offer. All the fireworks are silhouetted by the mountain range so it made it seem even more spectacular!
It's fun to see what effects you get out of an old camera with a long delay. Carlie was our official photographer for the evening!

I actually bought fireworks for the first time in my life! Will talked me into buying one called Dirty Dog...it was SO worth the $25! It kept going and going and going!
Tim and Mary hung out with us long into the night after watching the fireworks display. We were so happy to have time to visit with them. The girls played and played and Kimi was almost more entertaining than the fireworks! I am thankful for holidays that bring families together!
