We have just concluded our first official week of summer! We started with a full calendar for the kids but nothing for me. I was worried I wouldn't have anything to do... how wrong I was. This past week-
Jansen played in a team camp, went to open gym, Schallenberger's pond, hung out with Easton, mowed the lawn twice, went on a roadtrip to Washington, and jumped on the trampoline alot!
Carlie had two early morning practices, young womens, lots of kids to babysit, many hours with Jaylee and Emarie, practice for a musical number in sacrament meeting, a new blog, and is off to Lady Griz basketball camp tomorrow.
Will has played a lot of webkinz, also got to go on the roadtrip to Washington, made cool stuff with legos, played with Lauren, and jumped on the trampoline a lot.
Kristen has ridden her bike, played with Lydia, Otto, and Olin, has hung out with KimzeyCole, has accompanied me on many short shopping trips, has watched Polly Pocket 4 times, and has an awesome tan!
I have kept busy shuttling kids here and there, grocery shopping, reading a new book, cleaning the house to show, paying bills, doing summer school for the kids, eating yummy food at an Iron Chef party, playing Bocci Ball for the first time, worked out 3 times, laying out in the sun, and listening to sweet new music.
Joe has kept busy with ADR, Leader's Institute, an interview in Washington, a job offer in Washington, a decline to the job offer in Washington, training for his upcoming marathon, speaking at youth conference tonight in Missoula, and tomorrow meeting with the editors of the book he and Eric Rogers are writing about Pinesdale.
Still no new car but Gwynns were gracious enough to let us borrow Colie's car since she is in Austria. We thought we blew our van's transmission on the way to Washington (Stevensville was as far as the boys got before the van stopped going over 40 mph!) Turns out that when Joe got the oil changed, the transmission flush tripped out some cylanoids and voila! Being the brilliant man he is, Joe went back to the oil place and they straightned it up free of charge and the boys were once again on their way!
And I was afraid I would have nothing to do this week!!!!
