Princess Tea Party!

The table was set and waiting for the princesses to arrive. The table had been waiting a long time….10 days to precise. The first princess tea party never actually happened because Kristen was sick on her very special day. The following week was Halloween so this was the soonest we could have it.
The princess tea party was definitely worth the wait! As the princesses came to the door, Kristen would whisk her guests to the bathroom where she would quickly apply their makeup. I was really proud of one of the princesses dressed in an authentic dress from India. Her eyes were big as she explained that her mom and dad wouldn’t allow her to wear makeup. She then explained that her daddy says she is beautiful just the way she is! Brian and April should be very proud of her obedience☺

After feasting on Trifle and fudge striped cookies along with raspberry lemonade, all the princesses were announced. Each girl would leave the room then the rest of us would say, “Announcing Princess Kristen!” or “Announcing Princess Kaitlyn!” Each girl took a turn being announced as they walked, twirled, or leapt across the room and ended in a curtsy! It was fun to see all the fancy princesses in their different dresses.

Then they got to make their own royal jewelry. We used pipe cleaners and beautiful beads. Here they are showing off their finished bracelets!
With so many party guests I should have realized Kris would get way too many gifts;) She was thrilled with her royal stash.
After playing a game of freeze dance using the music from the Fisher Price Record Player Music Box (at Princess Kristen’s request), all the princesses were smiling and giggling.

Best Princess Tea Party Ever!
