With only 1 week left till school starts, we've been getting really creative on how not to be bored. Legos have kept the kids entertained for hours on end. Jansen created a "flip-book" lego animation with hundreds of pictures. He even added music and sound effects. Not quite clay-mation like Wallace and Gromit but definitely the right idea!
Carlie and Penny have dominated the lego scene most recently. They lucked out and took pictures while we still had batteries in the camera so I guess for this post they get the glory! This creation was complete with imagination: swinging doors, car elevators, etc.
Will and Kristen have gotten in on the fun too but I didn't think to take pictures till this latest creation. The kids actually had a great system going. They dumped out the large bin of legos onto a blanket so it made for easy cleanup! They just grabbed the blanket and dumped the rest back into the bin when it was time to eat. No tripping over legos for me! Yay!
